Content Backup:
Self and Scheduled

Content backup in React Bricks

What it is: Content backup gives teams a recoverable copy of CMS content, and enterprise teams can also schedule off-site backups.

How React Bricks handles it: React Bricks lets teams request JSON backups from the dashboard and can upload scheduled full backups to customer-owned S3-compatible storage.

Why it matters: Teams get a stronger recovery path for content and assets, especially when internal continuity or governance rules require customer-owned backup copies.

Self-Backup and Restore

From the dashboard, you can request a backup of all your content, in JSON format. Once your backup is ready, you'll receive a notification via email to download your backup file.

Whenever necessary, you can restore the content of your app using the backup file you previously saved.

Scheduled Backup on customer's S3 storage

Enterprise customers can activate daily or weekly scheduled off-site backups to their own S3-compatible storage. Within the dashboard, you can configure the storage parameters.

React Bricks automatically creates a full backup of all page content and assets, then uploads it to the customer's S3 bucket. This ensures a complete copy of your content is always available in structured JSON format, including all images and files.

The off-site backup feature complements the fallback self-hosted backend service perfectly.
